Remecare Thumb and Wrist Support

 

This is a well designed wrist and thumb brace that offers a high level of support and protection to the wrist and thumb. It provides ideal support for the care and treatment of a range of conditions including Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, repetitive strain injury, fractured Scaphoid and various other thumb injuries.

The support contains two aluminium bars, one supporting the thumb and the other supporting the wrist and palm. These inserts create a rigid structure that protects against both extension and flexion of the wrist joint. Adjustable Velcro attachments around thumb and wrist ensure firm and comfortable support is applied.

The brace is of a light-weight design and is made of a breathable nylon mesh material that provides a high level of ventilation to the hand.

Special Protectors® Wrist and Thumb Support

 

This thumb support provides for partial immobilisation of the thumb while retaining full mobility of fingers. It is ideal for use where the user wishes to remain as active as possible, such as when skiing, while providing support to existing injury and protecting against further damage.

The brace is constructed of SpecialMax fabric, designed to maintain warmth around the site of the injury while facilitating the removal of sweat and moisture.

A well designed brace that allows for the complete immobilization of the wrist, hand and thumb. The support has a strong but lightweight structure, and contains two aluminium inserts to ensure a high level of support and stability. These can be adjusted to suit the exact dimensions of the wrist and hand.

The brace is light-weight and has an easy pull-on/pull-off design. It is made of a hard wearing mix of cotton and polyester, and has a soft cotton liner providing a comfortable and well ventilated environment for the hand.

Ideal for use following injury or sprain to the wrist and thumb.

Available in a choice of two colours: Cream or Black
